Rest Is Not Weakness. Rest Is Rebellion.
You know what’s funny?
We live in a world that acts like exhaustion is a badge of honor. Like the more burnt out you are, the more you deserve to exist.
Well, screw that.
Rest isn’t weakness. It’s a rebellion.
It’s a middle finger to a system that would rather see you broken than fully alive.
When you choose to stop — when you choose to listen to your body instead of pushing it past the brink — you’re doing something radical.
You’re saying:
➔ I’m not a machine.
➔ I’m not here to be palatable or productive at all costs.
➔ I’m not setting myself on fire to keep everyone else warm.
Rest is strategic. Rest is survival. Rest is a damn protest.
So if your body is waving the white flag — if you feel the crash coming — you don’t owe anyone an explanation.
You don’t have to “push through.”
You don’t have to be the "strong one" all the time.
Take the nap. Cancel the plans. Lay your ass down.
Because when you get back up?
You’ll be carrying your power — not your burnout.
